Dean’s Office
As the official status document of the Colleges of Applied Sciences stipulates, every Dean of college is to have at his disposal an office, to be called Dean’s office.
This office represents a central link in the chain relating the entire Ministry; Directorate General of Colleges; and all academic, academic assistant, and administrative departments together.
Thanks to our Dean’s directives, so far the Dean’s Office has been an efficient means for furthering and facilitating all sorts of tasks and operations.
We would have mentioned, in particular, the high quality services the office has been rendering to all sorts of staff: Dean and Vice-Dean, members of academic, academic assistant, and administrative staff, as well as to students.
The Dean’s Office is assuming huge tasks for it deals with all academic aspects: answering telephone calls and queries; receiving and forwarding incoming and outgoing mail; keeping a close eye to the operation and progress of all academic, academic assistant and administrative processes.
Not least in this enumeration, is the office’s continuous interest in other areas, such as providing a proper training for the college’s staff and connecting the college to the local community.
